Kevin Karlson JD PhD is the author of "When ALL Else Fails: Minimizing the Damage Before, During, and After Divorce". Dr Karlson has been providing unique insights about divorce to his clients and their lawyers since 1983. He has served as a litigation consultant specializing in divorce and child custdoy cases, as a director of divorc e recovery programs, a divorce recovery coach, and now teaches classes on divorce, co-parenting, and divorce prevention at Gateway Church. He writes a highly successful blog PositiveDivorce4U.blogspot.com to provide new insights on topics relevant to divorce and child custody.
Dr. Karlson has had a varied and highly successful career as a teacher and seminar speaker. His adjunct faculty appointments have included UT Southwestern Medical School (forensic psychology), Southern Methodist University Dedman School of Law (Psychiatric and psychological evidence), UT Dallas Graduate School of Business Cohort MBA program (business communications), and SMU Cox School of Business, Business Leadership Center (managing diffcult people) where he received two Teaching Excellence Awards.
He is the executive producer of "Divorce Through the Eyes of a Child", a pilot TV project currently in development, which uses interviews with children, and their drawings of their familes, along with interviews with their parents to tell their stories.
